Why is there always a problem? We are a month from playoffs, had an awesome weekend, and everyone is playing well, yet today the two big topics are how bad NBCs coverage was and the playoff seeding format. Always need something to complain about.

Yes, and everytime the flyers win there is still complaining. I guarantee if they lost yesterday, there would be complaining about the game and not playoff seeding, but since they won, need a new topic.

Heard or read a qoute a longtime ago can't remember from whom or where but it went something like: The practice of Champions is to focus on positives after losses and negatives after victory.

I find it amusing and quite interesting how all other blogs have anywhere from 10 to 20 people on talking hockey on HB, however, Philly always has like 300 to 1200 posts a day. Just goes to show, we are the best

No there is a big difference... Now you have the 2 seed vs 3 seed in the conference finals... Meaning 1 of the 2 are in the SCFs....

Instead of having a 2 or 3 seed vs a 6 or 7 seed that played a weak 2 or 3 seed and the winnger going to the SCF...

If that 2 or 3 seed is good enough, they will beat that 7 seed. Teams don't have to be good to exact a physical price. The Flyers were a 2 seed taken to 7 games by the Sabres. Boston needed 7 games to win 3 of their 4 series last year, despite being a 3 seed.

In 2010, the seeding and points totals lined up precisely. The team with the most points played the team with the least. Second highest point total played 7th highest, and so on. The ECF featured the 7 seed playing the 8th seed.

They started good against the Pens. Then around 7 or 8 minutes in, they seemed to take their foot off the gas.

He seems to have his head in the right place, but he's struggling on finishing. I wonder too, as jsaq said earlier, if he will announce an injury after the season.

I... actually really agree with this post. I don't see the problem. Again, if the "complaining" is such a problem (and I agree, the irony is thick), by all means carry the conversation in another direction.

Still qualifies as a bad start, IMO. But you're right, they came out with the right attitude, but slipped up a bit.
