Yes very true but malkin seems to be over that to some degree(knocking on wood) and he was a young star with a ton of attention at 22 and 23 years old, harts is still doing it at close to 30 and getting worse imo. I just think back to playing sports growing up and in my low 20s there was nothing more deflating to a team when someone on your own team makes themselves look so stupid that you cant even defend them to the other players on the field.

When he is focused on playing he is a beast. He gets caught up in the extra ciricular activities. Similar to Burrows and Kesler. When they stopped the after whistle stuff they became more effective players.

great game so far. holding a team to 1 shot in a period (unless they got another one in the final minute or so) is just awesome. everyone is playing defense today. the forwards have made some good plays by getting back and starting the breakout.

Letang is playing a heck of a game just retreves pucks and moves them so quickly, also has a great stick. And one thing these Pens defenders are doing better during this winning streak is their gap control its been hard for other teams to enter the zone.

the Pens are who we thought they were. a damn good team.
