I have that feeling as well. Any way you look at it 2 teams get boned. 3 top points getting teams in the east and 2 will ahve to square off for a 1st round match up. Can you imagine a 7 game series like the game we played yesterday? We would be easy pickings in round 2

Yea too true. I would like to avoid the Flyers until the ECF and hope someone takes them out before that. I think we could beat them but we would be in rough shape for the next round.

“Obviously he’s a great player and any time there’s a player like that you can add to the team you want to,” defenseman Ryan Suter said. “It should be a good thing if it’s true.”

Captain Shea Weber had a similar assessment: “Everyone knows what a good player he is and how dynamic he is and what he’s able to do with the puck. He adds another element and adds some depth and some exciting play.”

I'm going tomorrow night to the Winnipeg game. I'm pretty excited to see Sid.

I see the Radulov addition as being a low-risk/high-reward move for Nashville.

If Radulov comes in and plays well, Nashville adds a high-quality player for nothing. If Radulov comes in and plays poorly or disrupts the team chemistry, Nashville sits him up in the Press box. It's what Shero would do and he use to be the assistant GM under Polie in Nashville.

While I didn't get to see the Flyers game, I was thoroughly impressed with the Pens ability to dominate the Devils and Rangers this weekend. Looks like the Pens had a pretty major advantage in shots against Philly through 2 periods once again. Maybe just exhausted in the 3rd from three tough games in four days? Still, the Pens got 1pt from OT so they remain 2pts up on the Flyers with a game in hand. A solid posistion, all considering.

After looking over the box score, if I'm Bylsma I sit down Letang (6 PIM), Kunitz (4 PIM), and Malkin (4 PIM) and explain to them that getting matching minors with the likes of Hartnell and Rinaldo is not a trade the Pens want to make.

over 4 years ago. Your not going to win me over. I think it is a risky move. Sorry!

Also 39 points in 41 playoff games in Russia. And no one is acting as if the Preds are adding a guy of Crosby or malkins ilk. But he has proven to be a 20+ goal scorer in the NHL when he was in his early 20s and then had similar production in Russia despite the shorter season. No other team in the top 2-3 of either conference added a proven 25-30 goal scorer near the deadline. Adding a guy who can produce at a level like Neal or Kunitz makes them an even more dangerous team.

if ANY Flyer did what Kuntz did he would have been tossed from the game and be facing a suspension today. The officiating in the NHL plain SUCKS! Unless your on Cindy's team then you can get away with anything.

Yea and Giroux hit Michalek from the bench... I cant believe nobody noticed that either. Hartnell got what he deserved. He comes after everyone from behind or when they are engaged with another player. He's not on Pittsburgh so I dont like him.
