with about 13 secs left I yelled there's still time. And when danny threw that pass....holy moley. Yeah. He should sit.

He really does still have chemistry with Hartnell. Too bad you can't clone him. (And that's not something you heard before last year.)

May I hate Kunitz heartily? Attempt to injure on the Jagr hit, but Jags I think avoided most of it...aware of his surroundings and deked just enough, I think. From where I was at the time I could only see Kunitz launch himself, not see at whom.

haha yep

i respect him but his Mad-Libs style is played out imo

It is, but it's like Ronnie James Dio singing Holy Diver...cheesy, but it's his.

I don't like Doc with Edzo or Pierre. Gord Miller with Pierre is a good booth. I think that Clement or Brickley would be a perfect partner for Emrick

Letang got Jagr. Kuntiz was driving Hartsy's head into the ice after malkin got dinged blocking the shoot.

Ah yes. That's right. Well I couldn't believe Kunitz didn't get a game there.

and a little for Rinaldo, too. Poor thing played with a thumb-sized appendage on his lip in the third. He's a hockey player!

The game is over. What time does Temple start?
- PLindbergh31

on both counts. If this were Owl Buzz, you'd be out as a troll.

Sorry the Flyers disappointed you by winning today. But I'm sure you'll find plenty to complain about. Just pretend the third period and OT never happened and you'll be fine.

Kimmo played a heck of a game today. Shut down Crosby on a 1-1, covered nicely infront of the net and of course the goal. He was our best D man i thought. Letang on the other side had a heck of a game too. Best player in the game IMHO. Of course Harts deserved the first star though. Both goalies made some spectacular saves.

Easily best game of the year IMHO.

Hated to miss that one. Who carried play in the OT?

Big weekend for the Flyers. Took 3 out of 4 points against two top teams. 8-1-1 in their last 10 games played. 3 behind the Rangers, 2 behind the Pens. Although the Flyers have played one more game than either team. Flyers in a very good spot and things are looking good. The only damper apparently is that Shelley is still on the roster.

M4 went to the game. My wife went outside to do yard work, she was so ticked off at the PXP crew.

It was totally odd, 3 on 3 for a while (2 minutes?). Looked like no team would really press too hard because of the chance of an odd man rush the other way. Crosby almost put it away with a spectacular toe drag move around Carle but it went wide (maybe Bryz got a piece but I don't think so, also I stopped breathing during the play). Once it got 4 on 4 again it opened up back and forth. I would say PIT for the first 40 minutes and then the Flyers the rest of the time.

He is always dangerous on open ice, but he lacks something. Something is wrong, he just does not have the pop.

I honestly did not know Hartnell had the sort of sniping skills he has shown this year.

Don't you need to win something to have a bandwagon?

And how many years do you have to cheer for someone before you're not "on the bandwagon" anymore? I've searched the internet for these answers but am having no luck. Like I started cheering when Mario started playing, I was 12. So technically I was a bandwagon fan then, does that mean I still am now? How many years is a 'bandwagon'? Can you get off a "bandwagon"? If you get off a "bandwagon" and then your team wins again, are you automatically back on the "bandwagon"? I look forwad to your clarification on this matter.

- canadianpenfan

I'd like to know how reacting to a game as it is being played has anything to do with a bandwagon. I was in the building, there wasn't a lot to cheer for in the second period. The Flyers were being dominated in every aspect of the game and were lucky to have Bryz stand tall. I can just imagine if that's happening to any team in the NHL the crowd is going to have trouble being all happy dappy just for you. It was like trying to root on the zombie horde.

I didn't see the game but reading about it, I guess the 2nd period wasn't too pretty for the Flyers. Most teams would just fold it in, and accept the loss in the situation the Flyers were in. To fight back and not quit, and to win the game. I think says a lot about this team's fortitude and makeup.

I had no idea Temple embarrassed themselves by setting basketball back 70 years to the days of the peach basket. Scoring 40 points against that South Florida juggernaut. I was kinda busy getting surgery.

Haven't complained once after tearing my achilles again last week, I'll be back to work next week. I don't let injuries stop me from doing my job.

Yeah, nobody said if they were in the lip or the gums. I'm amazed he didn;t spit out a few chiclets on the ice.
- Jsaquella

Looked like the lip. He looked like he had a whole extra lip out there in the third.

Sure. Fans were calling the game over after the 2nd period. Glad the team did not follow suit.

It doesn't need to be justified. It's a tired argument. They won the game. Pittsburgh has Tangradi who played just over 5 in the game.

I started to read the thread from the first page. And there was already complaining and doubt about the team. Because all my goodness Shelley was in the lineup. Then I read the complaining about Bryzgalov in the shootout against Boston. So I'm like why bother continuing.

Yes I did bring up Shelly. Is that not allowed? Did I break a rule there? Also where did I comment that anyone couldn't have an opinion?
