Not putting my head in the sand—I haven't argued with your evaluation of their play at all. I don't see how calling them sisters is a comment on their play, it's just disrespectful considering what they have done for this team over the years.
I'll drop it. I have enough issues tonight. It's St. Patty's day and my religious mother-in-law is visiting - Fosco
When players are afraid to get involved.check and stick up for their teammates the title is not too far wrong. |

I've seen so many plays tonight that could potentially cost us against better teams, specifically playoff teams. |

They are back on the scoreboard the last couple of games. I see Bieksa and Raymond making things more difficult than usual for them lately...if the D tightens up,,,,we go back to just noticing their offence.
I said after the last game...team problem, not just a LU problem. Look at tonight, same problems,,,different GT.
Someone needs to send in the cave recovery team to remove AV's head from a$$. These lines and D pairings are so preseason.... things are imprvoving... but probably much quicker if we get back to whats worked in the past. Burrows back with the twins, Bieksa back with Hammer, Raymond in the press box when Malholtra returns for the next game. - boonerbuck
They get their first goal in 10 games against the last place team .
Our first line is the Kesler ling and the Burrows line is the second line.
They were also on for the first two goals against Pho and also the two goals tonight although I won' t say they were to blame on the second one.The chances they have given the CBJ toinight is shameful for a supossed first line. |

2 goals for Daniel, I'll call that a slump buster. That, along with a fantastic BJ should build some confidence.
Beatle John, I know you're up for the second part of that equation. |

They have been contributing offensively the last couple of games.
Bieksa is -6 in his last three games and most of that is on the ice the same time as the Twins. He's playing like a total bum and when he isnt screwing everyone 5-5, he's mucking up the 2nd PP unit.
That game was way too close. Not much to be proud of here. It can't be denied that Lu is only *part* of the problem. Cory played better but it was almost in vain considering nothing changed defensively.

Did Cory really play that much better or were the shooters for the opposition simply worse? I saw a few opportunities ( especially in the 1st half ) where Cory just seemed fortunate that the shooter couldn't pick a corner. If you put a team out there with more offensive skill getting those chances and it could have been a much different game. |

Kind of hard to be 100 % sharp when you get to play so few games.I would really like to see him play 5 in a row again. |

Not by much but Luongo probably loses this game with his last two performances...
Scoring from the 1st *and* 2nd line. Thats the positive here I guess.

That goes both ways. If you noticed Lou was at his best following an extended layoff. I'd like to see Cory get a bunch of starts as well, as it would benefit both come playoff time. |

Wouldn't be as bad if it wasn't St. Patrick's Day. I usually like to enjoy those. Had to settle for a couple coffees with Bailey's, not enough to do the trick, though. Now not only am I not drunk, but I'll be up all night cause of the caffeine |

Every shift the Sedins are on they give up a great scoring chance against.Nuff said . - VANTEL
Yah it says they didn't give poop cause they are focused on the playoffs.
The sedins are point per game players at their worst. Why do vanouver "fans" throw them under the bus?
They didn't show up against Boston because the bruins figured out the power play and Vancouver didn't get the calls.
Why look a gift horse in the mouth? The sedins are top ten players in the world. |

Not in any particular order but 11 players off the top of my head I would rather see on the Canucks.Datsyuk Weber Toews Stamkos Suter Chara Nash Perry Giroux Crosby Malkin .Saying they are top 10 is being a Canuck fan point of view.It took me one minute to come up with this list.I am sure if I gave it some thought there would be more . |

Canuck fans starting to cannibalize each other.
I didn't realize that the Canucks had dressed Bure as a defenseman last night. |
