There is a real chance the Bruins don't make the playoffs, GO FLYERS!

They ended our season last June. .....

We ended their season last January.

1 Stanley Cup and most of us will count our blessings. Until then, the success just accentuates the failure that much more.

I agree. I am a die hard Canucks fan and have been since the late 70's. We have 92 Freakin points with 13 games left.

We had 59 when we drafted NedVed.

The Canucks have won 2 games in their last 8 and are sucking at home with the starting GT playing like a pylon and the playoffs just 3 weeks away... people can have their regular season and all it's glory. Most of us are worried about the post season.

We have never had a better team then now and in 5 years time who knows...we could be rebuilding and tanking for lottery picks.

The fans in the Rogers arena need to step up aswell and I love how Bieksa openly agreed recently.

I personally wouldn't be worried if they lost yet were playing fairly decent and just losing because the other team was struggling to get into the playoffs and wanted it more. The Canucks are in disarray and I see no signs of it changing any time soon.

You could always send Kassian, Tanev, Weise and MAG down. Pretty sure MAG needs to play 10 games for us or he becomes UFA instead of RFA, and with Ballard on LTI it looks like we have about $600k to spare.

Agreed though, if players get called up it will likely be one at a time to fill a specific need. There are enough bodies up already to sit a starter for a game.

We have 0 cap space but we have 409K LTIR space.Calgary has 1.3 K LTIR space

THE SKY IS FALLING!

The power play has looked better recently.

I honestly think its just the dull drums of an 82 game season and they couldnt care what happens because they're pretty much in the playoffs.

See what kind of game they bring against the hawks next week

Yet our 5 on 5 play is horrible, our D looks lost and this has been going on for longer than 2 months. You don't want to back into the playoffs, or you're asking to be ripe for the upset.

The time to panic isnt here yet but the times of dismissal have long passed. There were some baby steps forward in the last game but lets be clear...teams who score but don't play defense go nowhere... Right now we are playing like the Blue Jackets.

Everbody has been preaching our defensive game for the last month. AV, Gillis, the media...the fans. I find that strange considering what I've been seeing on the ice.

Stop. Let's wait until Chicago. The last important game was St. Louis and we won 2-0. That game was really important to STL. You could see when they dropped a Burke Cam on JD. Davidson was pissed.
I truly believe the boys are in cruise control. After Chicago we will be playing teams that will be fighting for a playoff spot. Dal x2, Col x2, LA, and Cal. It will be a telling 7 games.
So win or lose tonight I won't care. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy watching OTT beat TO.

We've seen this Canuck team turn the switch after a horrible stretch multiple times in the last few seasons and go on an incredible run, usually after a Burrows GWG or a big win over a rival. Will it happen again? Maybe not, but I don't see why it couldn't. It's mostly the same team as last year.

It's possible they are burnt out from the long playoff run, but if that's the case, there's not much that can be done other than resting guys or having them take it easy.

Maybe, but usually you'd see signs that the "process" was there, I don't see any signs that the Canucks are doing the things needed to if not win, then at least be competitive. The fact that Luongo seems to be starting to let in his soft goals again, and the D looking disorganized and unable to function unless they're stuck with their usual partner and our offense 5 on 5 drying up, this close to the playoffs is at the very least worrisome and at worst a cause for panic.

You're a total buzz kill.

If they hadn't pulled out the SO win today they would have been 3-6-1 in their last 10. If they don't win the division, no guarantees they make the playoffs, just like the Southeast and the Pacific divisions.

Nice to see Henrik make no move to tie up his man on the back check. It is not everyday that your captain allows the opposition to take a good shot like that.

Any one keeping tabs on how many goals against the SISTERS are on for?

Why are we churning up our defense pairs every game again? Bieksa is lost with out someone good enough to cover for his casual errors.

I don't care how bad they're playing, the sisters stuff is bull$hit. No need for canucks fans to contribute to it.
