unbelievable.
they're an unbelievable team.
they're Cup favorites.. period.
Their puck movement and puck control was among the best we've seen. Their D was solid and well positioned. Their transition game was awesome. And then theres the benefit of sucking and getting high lottery picks... the same years that sure fire best players in the league are available. surround them with some skilled vets and role players.. insert a jack adams coach and presto.
they beat us. we couldn't match them.
......plus it was an afternoon game.
our team defense consisted of chickens with their heads cut off... and Volchenkov, and Brodeur.
Poor Marty. Played his heart out and we were overwhelmed, overmatched, overpowered.
we've moved the puck as good as them, we've played D as good.. but just not today.
