As well as the Pens have been playing, the Devils have played them well no matter who they had. Just for the Devils recent history playing the Pens, I think there is a solid chance we beat you guys tomorrow and end the streak. - _Zippy_
It will take fraffic in front of the goalie or deflections/misdirections to score any goals on Broudeur. Dudes been hot!
You sir have used all your allotted "edits" up for the month. Please refrain from using anymore.
Fleury is a bust. Crosby is done. Malkin cant play good when playing with Crosby. Orpik is only good for dirty hits. TK looks like a fruit bat.
On that note, hope everyone has a good weekend and don't drink to ....... party hardy.
Lets Go Pens!
Edit: fyi Pretty good write up by Jan Levine. - kgrpitt
Somebody needs to educate her on the tripping rules too. Like several of their fans, she doesn't seem to know that if the player (Nisk) made contact with the puck before Gaborik tripped over him, it's not a penalty.

So I'm reading through the comments on Ian Esplans playoff predictions. He picks the Canucks to beat the Penguins, but he is the Canucks blogger....
Anyways, the Canucks now have their own refferee. So now I've noticed that the Rangers, Flyers and Canucks, the three biggest troll fanbases all have a mommy to run to.

Just watching some videos and thought people in here might like this one, the ending is really good

That 09 Cap/Pens series was one of the best playoff matchups that I have ever seen. It wasn't the 7 game rivalry, it was two teams that genuinely hated each other lead by two guys who dispised each other going to war. It was a treat for the hockey world.

Man... I was just thinking today how I can't wait for the playoffs to start, but after seeing so many of those moments that I remember so vividly, I don't know if I'm emotionally ready for it yet lol...

What a ride... - rival22
I made the mistake of watching the video as well, now all I want to do is watch playoff hockey. I don't care if I am emotionally ready, I just want to watch hockey that transcends a paycheck.
I'm sick of guys missing game because their wrist hurts. I want the hockey were a guy basically has to be dead to miss a game. I mean even Gonchar, a Russian no less played on a severely injured ACL in the 09 playoffs, because it was the playoffs.

And came back in Game 7 to assist on the first goal with a one legged slapshot to the net... just because it was Game #7.

sorry Ben it was his MCL on his left knee, not taking anything away from Gonch, but if it was his ACL, playoffs or not, he would have been done for the year

Which ever it was, during the regular season he would take the time off to heal it. But during the playoffs he laced them up like it was no big thing.

I think he was trying to say the MCL can be protected with a brace. ACL, not so much as it is internal to the axis of knee motion. However, I get your point as well. Go Pens, score many goals early. Please.
Best of luck to you guys today. Big points on the table. How about the Atlantic? Dominating. Southeast doesn't even deserve a single slot. - WayneZ
Gotta admit the competetive level in the Atlantic is at a high water mark. Teams will have to have depth to make it through that gauntlet and do well in the playoffs. The Southeast is limping into the end of the season, I agree.

Central division as well, poor islanders and blue jackets.
