it's really very annoying,. I was on it for a while and I kid of enjoyed using it to send stupidities to desi and apples but it's (frank)ing annoying to follow poop. basically if you follow Bob McKenzie you're set for hockey. follow anyone else and all they do is retweet him. - dt99999

Picked up MLB: The Show this weekend.
I love and hate it.
I started my RTTS career and it allows you to pick what kind of player you want to be, so I am a power-hitting 1st baseman. I also picked to play for the Nationals. I am in AA and killing it, so I get called up to Triple-A. After about 20 games, I am doing well, I got traded to the (frank)ing Pirates!!!

When I grabbed it a few years ago I got traded to the (frank)ing Orioles. So far so good this year. I also am a power 1st basemen.

At one point int the 80's, that hat was incredibly popular.
I had the black one. - Pecafan Fan
I don't recall that. I do recall the brief hayday of corduroy hats in the early 90's. I'm sure they're still around, but my (frank) in 1991 it seemed that you couldn't get a hat that WASN'T made out of corduroy.

I actually finished my first season last night. Got called up to MLB after all star game and won rookie of the year.
I checked my contract and I didn't have one when the season ended and I got an offer from the Pirates which I didn't sign. THE GAME FORCED ME TO RE-SIGN!!!
Then the Pirates dumped all their good players and entered a "rebuilding" mode.
I am the clean-up hitter and every time my first AB comes in the 2nd inning, we are already losing by a couple of runs.

That's how that game works. If you're a good hitter, the pitching on the team will be (frank)ing terrible. If you're a pitcher, there will be no offense for you. Kinda frustrating in that regard. Can't you ask for a trade?
I remember playing with those foot thongs. No (frank)ing clue why they made us wear it - Fredobbface
Called stirrups you loser and it was to hold up your socks under your pants. Sock technology has come a long way since the turn of the century to the start of the 90's. That's why you don't see them all much now.

the "stirrups" as you call them were the ones hanging to my ankles every (frank)ing game until I decided to not wear them anymore.

I don't want that kind of reputation, Ken. And I don't want to run the risk of playing in the AL, because the AL is stupid.
