I find that hard to believe. It's like city council here, they are always saying "buy local, spend your money here, keep our economy healthy" and then when they needed new furniture for City Hall where did they go ? out of town.

I work in provincial government building, the amount of work that gets done around here would keep local contractors busier than (frank), but no they end up getting contractors from Toronto or Slovakia or some such poop.

There is no reason for it imo and it pisses me off to no end.
