I think it has to do with the very conservative and judgmental values many have. I've met many great people from Alberta but compared with the rest of the country, Alberta has the highest average of very conservative, religious, sometimes narrow minded individuals. Give it about 20 years, after taking over Vancouver, Ataking over.sians are well on their way to take over Alberta also.
