12-3 then so far if I'm accurate. Not that this means anything.

If only the Leafs could play well in the spring and the Jays play well in the fall then you'd be set.

I brought it up once when somebody said I didn't read. I made the mistake of saying I've read more books in the last 3 years than most people read in their lives.

The last 3-4 games have been some of the worst I have seen Alfie play in years. The guy just looks stupid out there, not sure what he has been thinking.

The whole team played bad, but it starts with your best all around player.

Pathetic game really. Yesterday too.

Also, this is a joke when the Leafs come to town; Habs too.

Its an easy fix to start....PUT IN A (frank)ING DRESS CODE, no jerseys allowed unless they are Ottawa's or Team Canada's. Simple. It won't stop the fans from coming, but it certainly won't LOOK as pathetic. And don't say they can't, they totally can do that.

I'd like to hear other ways to lower it down to at least 80/20...please brainstorm. Ottawa loses 6 home games a year basically. Tor/Mtl

- BodyCheckRadio

come on dude, i love trolling and making fun of leaf fans as much as anyone else, but that's just ridiculous. if those guys want to pay money to come to the game, wear any jersey they want. as long as things don't get stupid in the stands (violence and general douchebaggery) then go for it. i'm sure the players love it, makes for a great atmosphere. always loud no matter who's winning, it's awesome.

tonight's game sucked, but it didn't hurt the sens, and it hurt the leafs draft position. so at the end of the day, who cares.
- sensarmy_11

Its not stupid at all. Its a joke watching it and listening to it. And although they pay money, it doesn't give them the right to do anything. Its a private establishment, They will still come anyways, but honestly looking at all those jerseys makes me sick. Bars do it, so do other places - there is nothing 'wrong' about it. Its a joke and likely will deter some people for sure.

Don't know about you, but I'm tired of losing 6 home games a year. There are some buildings where the punishment is being berated, littered on or worse if you wear another teams jersey...this isn't far fetched

Were you in there cheering for 9th?

I mostly avoid that thread now, as i've only been pinched in there or by a Leafs mod in the Nucks thread when we play them.

This wasnt a leaf mod, as none are on in the night time, chances are it was a busy bodied, save the world from the evildoers on the internetz flyer mod, with far too much time on their hands and not enough IQ points to be witty.

Regardless, great win for the Leafs tonight. Only 4 pts. out of 9th with 10 to play.

If Reimer could get hot and a few leaf goal scorers too, this could be one magical ride, all the way to 9th place, and really leaf fans deserve better than a lottery pick anyways, good for them for following their team during this brief rough stretch they have been on the last 9 years or so, good for them, after this magical run they will make tshirts of the leafs unstoppable run to 9th place, i for sure will have to order one for my friend Ken.

Here's to hoping! I do feel kind of bad for Kenny and a few others, maybe I'll have to buy them some Kool Aid.

I dont know about you, but i for one am extremely interested in finding out what kind of high brow reading material that Ken is interested in. I believe that would be a great conversation piece honestly.

Another soft player....talented but very soft.

Desharnais line is set, Bourque-Plek-Gionta....let's just says I'd rather drop Bourque on the 3rd line with Eller and Moen and get Plek another decent winger WITH SIZE/SKILLZ. That would leave Leblanc, White and whoever on the 4th line.

He's a one hit wonder in a contract year. This season's Bergenheim or JP Dumont. If the habs sign him it will be a disaster. If they don't, it will be a circus.

edit: and I'd love to drop Gionta to the 3rd line too.....
Cole - DD - Pac
??? - Plek - ???
Bourque - Eller - Gionta
White - Lebust - Moen
Darche

Though knowing the habs, Darche and Moen will be with Plek.

edit2: Wow the UFAs at forward is a weak list

I think Gionta will come back strong next year, the big question is can he stay healthy, he is not getting younger. Unlike Bourque, we know Gionta will work his ass off every shift, won't back down from going to the net.

Yea, Begin worked his ass off every shift too. When the skills aren't there, they aren't there. He shouldn't be a first line player. 22-25 goals, 45 points is a GREAT 3rd liner.

Dustin brown is an exception I'd happily make because he hits so much. He could be our Hartnell. Now all we need is our Giroux
