Thats a good point. He plays for a bad team that gives up a lot of shots. Nick Kronwall is 9th, McDonagh is 4th, Girardi is 6th, Seabrook is 12th but other than that mostly poopty team dmen.

A lot better than the 48th. But he didn't cost anything and he's probably going to hit 65-80 pts easily next season...or so they said last week.

I don't know that it matters any more or any less. It is what it is. I like Gorges and like that he's willing to stick his face in the lanes. Would be nice if MTL had a few more guys willing to suck it up like that. He's a big part of their PK and leads by example. Whats not to like?
