Joking aside, i'm one of the few Martin supporters. He is a bit overpaid, but I feel much more comfortable with a veteran guy like Martin to play +20mins come April/May than a promising, yet unproven rookie like Simon Despres.

Dubinsky has been quiet after the game this seasons. That is what I have missed most about Crosby being out. Seeing Dubi whine in the intermissions or post game.

It's like the circle of life but without dignity and grace. Whining bgets whining. Funny, has barely played all year and yet he has done a lot of whining. Not possible. Matt Cooke reformed citizen, will not get credit either and don't expect any. Ranger fans=insecure whining at it's finest.

To be truthful, there have been several national columns about Cooke's turnaround this season, so he is getting some credit.

I know he's overpaid, but it until Letang needs to be resigned in the summer of 2014 (or two full seasons from now) I don't see it as an issue. If you have to move Martin then to resign Letang, so be it. But don't do it now based on the promise of a 20yr old rookie Dman in Despres who wil fit under the Cap next year anyway.

Fitz just signed an inflated deal midway through last season. At the same time he signed his deal he broke his ribs against the Redskins and had a pretty crumby second half of the year. Fitz only revealed the broken ribs after the season ended.
