As long as you will have a friend with my low-brow taste
- FrankDrebbin

Then friendship it shall be. I like to see the best in people (at least, people who don't write defamatory blogs for the sake of attention seeking).

I wouldn't exactly call my taste in things erudite and eclectic, either

Like 10 touchdowns in 2 seasons?
- jak521

No like having one of the best offenses in the league for 2 years. A offense that he is a huge part of. Again he contributes even when he doesnt touch the ball.

IF you're referring to the wr decision then I would have to agree. I think the qb and management of the defensive side of the ball are where they are weak. Somehow they are magically going to be better but whatevs.
- JoeRussomanno

I don't know football well, so I can't say for sure. A big money team putting that cash down to keep their best receiver isn't a bad decision in my books, though.

Shanahan: Hi I am Brendan Shanahan with the NHL, office of player safety. On March 18th there was an incident in a game between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Flyers Zach Rinaldo looked at an unsuspecting, defenseless, Sindey Crosby with a sarcastic, slightly menacing smirk while Crosby's back was to him...Mr. Crosby wan't injured on the play, but his feelings could have been hurt, had he seen this look from Mr. Rinaldo. Given Mr. Rinaldo's previous history, and his slight resemblance to Dan Carcillo, the NHL has suspended Mr. Rinaldo until pigs fly.* Thank you.

I'm still rooting for them to beat the rags tonight. Found rag fans to be quite annoying this year. At least our despised cross-state cousins have something to beat their chest about, so I can accept it when they do.

I am hoping for an injury riddled bloodbath between the two that results in a regulation loss for somebody.

They've had him for a while now with nothing to show for it. IF the Flyers had him there would be like three cups already.

I don't like to see players injured but It will be amusing if Crosby doesn't finish the game and never comesback at this point. I have grown quite accustomed to the Crosby-less NHL and no punching of another player's groin.

Based on what? Yards gained. The red Zone offense is killer!

Now I'm really done. Bring on the Islanders.

I'd like to see Shanny address that in one of his bullet point reviews:

In review:
-Defenseless player in headlock
-Repeated donkey punches to the nads
-NHL black ops special rules section for Crosby apply in this case.
-No supplementary discipline necessary.

When you have use of force training, they bring out this silhouette with different areas of the body shaded in different colors. Long story short red areas like the head and groin are such color because you can give someone either death or serious bodily harm. That being the case, Crosby undoubtedly deserves disciplinary action. I know guys wear protection there and they hit each other in the head in fights but those fights usually involve two willing combatants that know ahead of time punches to the head and or body are coming in hockey. A punch to the gonads while in a vulnerable position is the most blatant act of cowardice and recklessness I have ever seen in a sporting event. So No I would never want him on the flyers and Yes he deserved a big suspension for that. Perhaps these concussions are karma I don't know.

IF that was directed at me you are sadly mistaken. For one all I ever heard from that station is how great Vick is (jeopardy wrong answer buzzer) and two I rarely ever agree with that station. In fact when they say something that I agree with beforehand I go back and re-evaluate my first opinion.

Malkin runs into Stall... Knee to Knee.. Richards hits Crosby and Crosby gets a concussion, Richards suspended for the rest of the season... Gaborik Runs into Fluery, Fluery chops Gaborik and breaks his arm.... Lundquist and Fluery fight over this... Lundquist breaks his glove hand and Fluery breaks his orbital bone...
