I still don't understand why I can't hold up one set of human beings to the standard of another. Well I guess it does take more intestinal fortitude to play Ice hockey. I never lost teeth playing football but I did on the ice, so I guess that's it. - JoeRussomanno
I can understand the player's point of view for nothing more than the fact that their contracts are not guaranteed. One major injury, and the team could let them go because they're not worth their contract anymore.
However, I don't really feel any pity towards poeple who make millions of dollars who cry about possibly getting hurt in a contact sport. They never seemed to care about their health until they reach the pro's. Then all of a sudden they can't go across the middle, or stretch out for a pass, for fear of getting hurt.
Go be a construction worker or a teacher for a couple months, and then see if you're getting underpaid. |

So basically your saying his speed can be defended just like every other receiver in the league? Funny how the Eagles who usually wont part with a nickle will pay a "overrated" receiver (a position they never valued) 15 million guaranteed. I actually cant stand Desean but he brings a lot more to the table then what people give him credit for. - FrankDrebbin
DeSean is being paid what his worth would be on the open market. Look at his numbers and compare them to Vincent Jackson and Pierre Garcon. Jackson is being paid fairly. Im not going to over-rate/under-rate his signing. He is a young explosive WR/KR that can only help the Eagles. |

Unfortunately for the Eagles they don't have a real qb to throw the ball to all these recievers /yawn. |

Like i said it caught me off guard. But I didn't go and post it on another site, which I believe is actually against the code of conduct for this site, to direct traffic towards it, regardless of intent.

I'll side with Joe here, despite the irony of his post. If you find that website entertaining, then I'm sorry but I think you have truly awful low-brow taste in entertainment. It's anti-intellectual drivel. Where other writers in this area are only compared to TMZ in drama value, this guy literally duplicates the TMZ method.

IF you're referring to the wr decision then I would have to agree. I think the qb and management of the defensive side of the ball are where they are weak. Somehow they are magically going to be better but whatevs. |

So what is the line on number of games before Crosby is out again? 1? I say Rinaldo gets suspended the entire year for laying a completely legal hit on him... - RooNosHockey
Shanahan: Hi I am Brendan Shanahan with the NHL, office of player safety. On March 18th there was an incident in a game between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Flyers Zach Rinaldo looked at an unsuspecting, defenseless, Sindey Crosby with a sarcastic, slightly menacing, smirk while Crosby's back was to him...Mr. Crosby wasn't injured on the play, but his feelings could have been hurt, had he seen this look from Mr. Rinaldo. Given Mr. Rinaldo's previous history, and his slight resemblance to Dan Carcillo, the NHL has suspended Mr. Rinaldo until pigs fly. Thank you. |

Get a defensive coordinator and someone who will get Babin to play against the run and not just sack hunt. Otherwise forget it. I still think the secondary is weak but I only said that last summer too but was laughed at. Wait I said they would be the nightmare team too and not the dream team. So sowwy.
For what its worth I have many a friend and relative who are die-hard eagle fans. Hope you guys get your wish one day but with certain individuals on that team I don't see it happening. I do enjoy breaking your chops a lil bit but it is getting old. |
