Flyers have 50 fighting majors so far this season. The Islander...20.
- Pixote Andolini

the Isles have probably won more than the Flyers, though.

5. Brian Boucher holds the modern day record.

All time is Alec Connell of the original Ottawa Senators. 461 minutes and 29 seconds...or more than double what Bryz has done.

Wellwood really has grown in bounds from his callup time last year to this year. Schenn has looked so unnoticable lately. But he seems to be doing his job defensively so whatever

In order for him to break John Vanbiesbrouck's team record for consecutive shutout minutes (227:40), Bryzgalov and the team would need to hold the Islanders off the scoreboard tonight until at least the 11:28 mark of the second period.

for the Flyers I seem to remember it being 5 or something? a combo of Hexy II and Snow? Though that seems hard to fathom.

didn't Hexy and Snow have a run of 5? Or was I on drugs back then?

Thought it had to be shutout to at least 8:23 (remaining) of the 2nd.

Isn't the best in the league a 5 game shutout set by Boucher?
