I've actually gotten her to make the complete conversion, from sportsless fan to Flyers fan. She listens on the radio, she comes over for games when I'm not working, she honest to God follows the team. It's kind of flattering, in all honesty, knowing she did that for me.

Need I say she's a keeper?

Actually getting the women to join the hockey fan ranks is easier than most other sports, especially with a team like the Flyers.

She knows though when playoffs start that if a game is on we are watching or staying in.

At the same time she knows very well how to.. Distract me.

No doubt about it. I'm biased as a lifelong fan, but I'd say with some of the personalities they've got on the team that they come across as likable.

I am hoping Read reaches the 20 mark tonight, Hartnell further climbs up the latter to a possible 40 goal season, Jagr also shines, while Giroux assists on each goal. At the same time I'd like to see Briere build off of the last game. We'll see. I want instant success from players we expect the highest expectations from. Even with Simmonds' recent slump, who cares. He's due for a slump and still plays hard every night. Talbot is another guy I'd like to see score. First time 20 goal scorer.
