Gragnani and Tanev have been the best pairing the past few games.
Not sure who Sulzer is playing with, but I doubt it's a rookie with only a handful of NHL games under his belt. - Scooby_Doo
He's been playing with Ehrhoff, who the majority of the Vancouver fans said is lethargic and a defensive liability. Generally, Sulzer has had over 20 minutes of ice time a night. Tonight was low.
The trade is definitely too early to decide, but I've actually liked what I've seen out of Sulzer. Hodgson is young and trying to find his way. It doesn't help that Ruff is a nightmare for offensively gifted guys. The only reason Foligno keeps scoring is because it's by accident pretty much. But, I'll take it. |

Ya i know. Was just playing with the guy, it's still way too early to judge who won the trade. - Scooby_Doo
I don't think you're going to have a clear winner and I don't think it matters. The object of a trade isn't to "win" or deceive another team. It's to swap equal but different parts in order to become more balanced. |

Sulzer is good, even has a nasty side.
Ehrhoff was a bit of a liability, but overall a really solid d man.

If the Canucks win the cup this year, it's safe to say they are the clear winner. |

Hodgson 16 minutes... -2
10 games no points. - Scooby_Doo
What a surprise, another day, another shot at the kids. Leave it alone. It's annoying.
Edit: My thoughts will be placed in a visual.

That won't happen. Luongo is still the goalie. |

2-4-1 since TDL, you better hope your team finds that chemistry you lost with all the trades |

He was saying that Sulzer isn't playing with a rookie and that Gragnani is.
Though technically both of them are rookies then.....
Even still. I'd rather have Sulzer at this point. Gragnani was a mess this year. |

I honestly cant rant about Weber enough. First of all, why is he out there in critical situations, and second of all, why is he not playing in the ECHL where he belongs. He is just so incredibly bad. |

He had 19 minutes of ice time and finished with an even rating. Not really sure why you're getting on his case. I think he played a pretty good game. I think all of the defensemen make at least 1 stupid mistake a night. |

I love the Sabers as an alt team. Honestly if the avs had the refs call a game in their favor its about time. Avs have had the fewest PP's in the league by FAR. We never get the calls. Every year the Avs sabers games are my favorite and tonight was no exception. Wish the sabers best of luck making it to the playoffs |

I know what he was saying, I was pointing out that Tanev has played 37 games less than Sulzer. Granted Sulzer has been in the league for 5 years, he doesnt play that much and hasnt. |

Just watched the "low-lights", bad game for Miller, first goal was SOFT and lots of re-bounds, freakin Vanek, he is still hurt, the chances he gets and doesn't bury, he must be hurt still. That last goal made me feel sick, blue uniforms standing around doing nothing. |

The Sabres didn't lose that game in the final 15 seconds, they lost it in the final 15 minutes when they decided that after going up 4-3 they would never cross the red line again.
Has this team scored an insurance goal all year? I can't remember the last time Buffalo took the lead late and then added to it to secure the victory.
If I see Lindy Ruff have his team go into a defensive shell with a 1 goal lead for more than HALF the 3rd period again this year I'm going explode. |

even the douche commentators noted that Buffalo had changed thier game. the only thing the prevent defense prevents is a victory |

I think I yelled (frank) loud enough that my whole neighborhood probably heard me when once again we gave up a lead with less than 5 seconds to go in the game. My blood pressure must have rose an easy 30 points.
Vanek. Is anyone else fed up with Vanek or at the end of their rope with him?
Anyone else notice that Vanek was not even 1 of the 3 shootout participants?
I would love to see this organization try to involve Vanek in some type of package this summer. No matter what Vanek does for the rest of the season I still would like to see him off this roster by next season. |

team has 2 points, and 1 gets taken away from them due to a goal at the end of the game
that could be the final nail in the coffin
if you can't hold on to a lead, you dont deserve to be in the playoffs |
