Dustin McGowan and Kyle Drabek each pitched three solid innings for the Blue Jays.

McGowan, bidding for a spot in Toronto's rotation after three years of arm and knee problems, gave up one unearned run in his second spring start. Drabek followed and also allowed an unearned run.

Blue Jays manager John Farrell said as long as McGowan's name stays off the medical reports, he will have a spot in the rotation.

Normally, I would walk into this and be chastized further, however, there was no damage done.

I had purchased the original non-click wheel iPod prior to going on deployment, it broke the last week, when we got into port I found out they wouldn't replace it and ended up getting the new click-wheel version, which I still own and use.

I was also able to use the old one and actually fixed it until it's battery failed and this knowledge has allowed my to keep my second iPod for about 9 years.

I'm finding out now that US soldiers are treated like crap compared to Canadians. I have friends who came back fro m6 months in afghanistan with $70-80k tax free. Here they make like $35k a year
