You should see me doing a 500m on speedskates.

LOL

I guess the "speed" in "speedskates" is used very loosely here...

No no, the speed is fine.

For two laps and a half, and then it suddenly feels like someone injected Frank's Red Hot sauce into my thighs instead of blood.

It really, (frank)ing, burns.

Guess not. thought he was a d man. Oh well, I didn't care anyways. Just wanted to make it look like I did after he called me on my bluff about his game yesterday.

How else can I explain it? I know this team is poop, but come on...this poop? We'll find out once they are officially out of it. If they start playing like champs again we'll have our answer.
- weirdoh

it's called misevaluation of talent. we know about it all too well in montreal.

burke misread the quality of his goaltending, his d, connolly, the coaching staff.........am i leaving anything out? oh ya, phaneuf is an overrated pylon.

burke's biggest asset is that he's a windbag. he keeps the media and fans entertained while his team does the opposite.

btw, don't the leafs always play like champs once they're eliminated?

Both penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct, the on-ice conversation between Lars Eller and Erik Karlsson continued loudly and for several minutes afterwards through the plexi-glass walls of the penalty box. While it would have likely been fun to listen in, it probably wouldn't have done many people much good anyways – unless of course, they speak Swedish.

“I know Erik. We’ve played together in the past. What you say on the ice stays on the ice though. We’ll keep it between ourselves, but I will tell you that we had the discussion in Swedish. That’s all,” dropped Eller, who played two seasons alongside Karlsson in the Swedish Elite League.

“They’re playing for a spot in the playoffs. We’re playing for pride. We’d love to spoil the party for a few of the teams ahead of us,” continued Eller on the subject of the seventh place Senators who sit only one point behind the third place Bruins. “There are no easy games. I don’t know how the Senators approach their games, but if they think we’re going to give them an easy time, they’re wrong. We’re not going to stop playing and we’re not just going to hand over two points.

To be honest, I doubt the fact that I smoke has got anything to do with the production of lactic acid in my legs...

But yeah, I should really quit smoking anyway.

I just wanted to put everything in context.

Also, the fact they argued in Swedish is pretty funny, I just imagined myself being between the two benches

Karlsson: Smörgåsborg!! Smörgåsborg borg borg!!

Eller: Borg!! Borg smörgåsborg [...] borg smörgåsborg!!
