tonights game is an after thought to me right now...Williams could change the Bills franchise for years to come.

Don't get me wrong I'll be excited if we win and down if we lose...just not to degree if Williams signs/leaves.

Warm ups soon?

or no because of the 7:30 start?

More time to get Williams to the Arena?

Even if he doesn't sign it could change it . just think of all the hyped up fans that will be ground down yet again if he goes away.

I doubt they have everyone involved in negotiating and whatnot involved in the Williams deal. They have people taking care of everyone else as well. Robert Meachem visited while Williams was there yesterday, and supposedly they have interest in Manningham as well.

The reason its taking so long is Ralph himself is doing the whole negotiations. He has sat down with Mario and started with "Mario, in my day when I started in this business, we walked up hill in the snow both ways to work".

And so on and so on. This could go on for days!

If the Bills fail to land Mario Williams, they will not only have wasted tons of time and resources on one guy they never got, they missed their 2 other targets. This will be a huge embarrasement for this Bills and will further damage their reputation among the other players.

Basically the Bills came out waving the flag saying "We have tons of Cap room and intend to give it away". If guys turn that down, thats really bad. Plus season ticket sales have been plummetting from their all time peak when they signed Ownes a few years ago. If they dont land Williams I think it will hurt sales even more than if they did nothing it all. It will be like counter momentum.

IMO, Williams doesn't sign, the Buffalo Bills never recover and basically fold up like a lawn chair once and for all.

Yeah I'm not trying to be all negative, but in pro sports when you come and say proclaim you want to spend big time, and no one wants your money, you got problems.

Sabres came out and said we intend to spend and had very little trouble doing it.

Methinks the Bills should hire Terry Pegula for persuasion purposes.
