the only positive that I can find from this is perhaps it is an exhausting process, and he decides to sign and then go home to get a good nights sleep and come back for the presser tomorrow

Yep.

Pro football talk really hasn't been too good at supporting its rumors. Just re-hashing pretty well known facts like players being cut, signed after the fact, players meeting with teams....I haven't paid much attention to them until the the last few days but they don't seem to have a great grasp at finding inside rumors.
