Both Buffalo teams tend to keep things like this close to the vest. It wouldn't surprise me. If neither camp leaks the information, then no, I wouldn't. Usually when news like this gets out, it's the party that isn't the Buffalo organization to leak it.

Can't throw the guy under the bus yet. For all we know, he's already decided in his head. For all we know, it's already been finalized and not announced yet. Hell, if I were a free agent and about to be the highest paid defensive player in the league, I'd let the Bills kiss my ass all afternoon, even if I'd already been convinced that morning.

IMO, as a big time free agent demanding big dough, I can't imaging he and his agent can afford to waste all this valuable time hanging out somewhere he isn't signing. The other teams that want him will move on and spend their available cash elsewhere and he would be stuck.

I'm from Buffalo and love it to death, and I live in an even smaller and more modest town now in Savannah, and the outside appeal to cities like Chicago or NYC or San Fran is way better, and for very legit reasons outside of the game. Buffalo better have a good song and dance to get this done, fo realz.

Also, as fans people forget that these guys have lives outside of the game, and sometimes money isn't really everything. I'm from Buffalo and love it to death, and I live in an even smaller and more modest town now in Savannah, and the outside appeal to cities like Chicago or NYC or San Fran is way better, and for very legit reasons outside of the game. Buffalo better have a good song and dance to get this done, fo realz.

For reelz though, a lot of people say nobody would want to come to Buffalo and all that garbage, but the thing is these guys live in rich neighborhoods behind golf courses in O.P. and Hamburg. Its peaceful, quiet and they are in huge homes that would cost double somewhere else. Great family places to live. That's why a lot of famous sports figures and athletes live here after their careers are done, even if they got traded away from Buffalo during their career.
