yeah, he smiled when he picked up his girlfriend at the airport and said "we will see"

hours later he is still here and it is quiet

yet this morning espn reported he was going to visit other teams

it's the only thing that makes sense at this point

Im all ears if somebody has an opinion on the Sabres that has not been beaten into the ground yet.
- Gunner Staal

I think that McNabb should start off next year in the A. I think it would be best for his development. I don't think this has been beat into the ground yet.

Source? I can't find it anywhere??

I'm still on cloud 9 about the Bucks getting Monte Ellis from GS for Stephen Jackson and Andrew Bogut.

He is ready now, let alone next year. Much like Simon Despres of Pittsburgh.

and nobody ever comments on it.

Everyone is ready to anoint him the next "great" thing here. I think he's gonna be solid, but there are parts of his game that could still use some work.

He's got the skills to do it now. He'll be better suited if he can work on his all around game. He's got a nice shot, but we hardly saw it here at the NHL level. It's like he's afraid to use it. I think he could still use a bit more time to get more comfortable.

I'm not sure he can get anymore "comfortable" in the AHL if that's his issue.

i agree with you.. he could be the next great thing but he needs to be brought in slowly. weber looked great for a 10 game call up at one point as well.

he needs to get more comfortable with his overall game. He looks good at the AHL level. I think another half season or so would be good for him.

Besides, I don't see them making many moves on D this offseason which means we still have a full roster here. The only spot that may be open is the 7th guy and I would rather see Brennan in that role than McNabb.

There is nothing left for him in the AHL. Sink or swim time starts at the latest next fall.
