Ok guys...

Offseason...

Keep Jagr?

Keep Carle?

Keep Kubina?

Keep Grossmann?

Keep Voracek?

Keep Bourdon?

Keep Zulnerczyk?

- RooNosHockey

That really depends on what the cap will be. IF it goes up enough you keep them all.

I wonder if the Flyers are going to go after someone like Parise or Semin in the offseason. It would probally mean not resigning Jagr, and trading Voracek or someone, but it would add a legit star forward for Giroux. What do you guys think?

They have a plethora of up and coming forwards. Why go out and overpay for that which you already have?

To have someone that can be Elite now, not 3-4 years from now...

Semin isn't giving you anything you don't have now. Parise is a special player but I don't know what makes you think he won't be a Devil next year. OTherwise we have a great nucleus in tact. There's no need to sacrifice for next year what you are getting down the stretch. LEt the team grow together, what is the rush? Besides this team as it stands might not be far off from a championship anyway.

Offseason...

Keep Jagr?

If the price is right, yes.

Keep Carle?

For about 5 mil, yes. Much more than that, no.

Keep Kubina?

I'd like to keep him. He has already indicated he'd like to stay. If they can work out a fair one year deal, I keep him.

Keep Grossmann?

By all means. Get him signed.

Keep Voracek?

See Grossmann. Little easier signing since he is RFA.

Keep Bourdon?

Keep Zulnerczyk?

Bourdon and Harry Z. are no brainers. They are RFA and they are really AHL players at the moment. They won't cost a lot. Both have shown promise. Can't think of any reason not to bring them back.

Pretty much yea. I'd like to get Kubina for more than one year but he's no spring chicken either. As for Jagr I actually find him most expendable on that list. I'd really hate to overpay for a player in the twilight of his career.

What would you consider overpayment? I would be happy with 2.5-3 mil for him. You have to remember, Jagr didnt have much of an offseason this year either. I would expect an entire offseason would make him much better.

I loved Prongers reply when the media asked him why he doesnt grow a playoff beard... He said... I do, just not in a visible place....

He's not getting younger either. If that 2.5-3 mill is what you need to keep one of the other guys then bye Jagr.

Parise will cost a lot and I want no part of Semin. He is morphing into Zherdev before our eyes. They don't need to add expensive forwards. Having Cooter, Read, and Schenn back with a year under their belts should equal more productivity. Simmonds, Giroux, and Jake V. should all improve a bit too. They will be good offensively assuming Hartnell's season isn't a total fluke and Briere doesn't hit severe decline. I see them either bringing Jagr back at a reasonable price or adding a solid depth/faceoff/defensively responsible veteran presence. But...jesus...lets focus on the now, mang. Playoffs are right around the corner and the team is showing signs of rounding into the form you'd like to see in the second season.

Crims,

The Eagles making their moves. Winston Justice traded to Indy for 6th rounder. Andy is a genious.

- stveshdy

Trading him to Indy is a total injustice. You see what I did there.
