I said earlier this week that Grossmann reminds me a bit of big Hatcher. He isn't quite as flat out nasty as Hatch, but he has some mean to his game. I love it.

a permanent neck injury, 2 bad rotator cuffs, a knee replacement needed in ~ 15 yrs & lwr back disc herniation w/ stenosis. so don't mess!

I think Bill would agree that Grossmann is playing better then he expected he would. I know Bill said he would be a good fit, but I dont think anyone expected him to be this good.

btw not sure if anyone noticed, but during the postgame last night, you could see bill--and his sweet chops--perusing the dressing room. sry if mad l8.

What Bill said to paraphrase. Is that Grosmann wasn't a guy that would do a whole lot with the puck. He's make the simple play. and is a solid defender and penalty killer that would help the Flyers.

Anyone know anything about this injury to Callahan? All I found is their thread where it says this could actually be a fracture. Just wondering, like to keep an eye on the enemy

I've been saying it was a fracture all along. Even if it were a bad bone bruise, I can't see him wearing a boot on it and missing this many games.
