C'mon, you as well as I do that the Leafs won't be drafting in the top 5, they can't win at anything, the Harold Ballard curse lives on Habs will probably find a way to (frank) things up and move out of the top 5

Been watching the Leafs for over 40 years now.

Never have I witnessed a Leaf team play this bad for such a long period of time. Yes there have been teams that have been bad.......... just never for this long of a period

Of all the changes that need to occur in the off season, there is one that should also happen

Dion Phaneuf is not a captain

I see no passion from him either on the bench or on the ice

He has been invisible in terms of on ice leadership

Carter Ashton actually has some decent hands, and very good speed for a big guy

He is a keeper..... min. top 9 with likely top 6 potential

i dont know why so many people dont like that contract.. it makes absolutely perfect sense.. 50-60 point centre in his prime years is worth around 4 -5 million.

then take one look at the FA centres this year and it inflates his worth even more

when considering all factors.. 5.5million for 5 years is a good contract.
