I think they need to find 2 tenders with some quality experience in this league to move them to the next level..

Goal tending is the easy finger to point but if Thomas can get some rest this is not even an issue. I'm going with only 1 line + Caron is doing anything offensively, the back checking is non-existent, the defense sucks and is lackluster and the GROSS amount of turnovers. I counted 15 by the 2nd period of the PIT game on Sunday.

Starting to think they emptied their buckets 2011...

The whole team has been garbage except a rotating line per game. Krejci's, Bergy's, Kelly's lines have all had good games in this garbage stretch but its hard to find more than 1 or 2 games where its been more than one line. The team D has been atrocious since December, sloppy and slow making decisions, D to D to D to D breakout just doesn't cut it. And the goaltending has been well below their stellar standard for far too long, that includes Timmy, Tuukka and now Turco. Not one person or group to blame, they've all stunk. May be a function of just wearing down between the Cup run and injuries, but regardless the team as a whole isn't very good right now.

All of this!

The D to D stuff is classic Claude. While his system was validated last season he seems to have regressed strategy wise. You cannot win games 0-0

I think it's coached as a safety valve, when the team is playing well and forwards are providing good puck support and the D are making good reads, the B's are phenomenal at breaking out quickly and efficiently. Personally think it falls more on the players than the coach here.

I'd assume Turco didn't bet on being that bad?
