What are you seeing that you don't like beef?

Oduya has had 1 really solid game (Rangers) and the rest have been up and down. He has had some bad turnovers and some lapses defensively but he usually makes up for it. Last night Oduya was a big reason why St. Louis scored their second goal.

I personally like the addition but fans around here are overrating him big time...already.

I don't know if people are overrating him as much as giving credit where credit is due.

The guy got dropped into defensively horrible club and has picked up massive slack. He's skating well over 20 minutes a night and overall has been very solid and responsible. If you want to talk about defenseman with bad turnovers and defensive lapses, you should be more worried about Keith, Hammer, Olsen, and Leddy.

Oduya has been very good for us. Nothing more, nothing less.

5.9 mil cap hit, long term, for a top 5-10 defender in the league is an unattractive contract?

Really? Since when?

And for what preposterous reason would you do such a thing? Unless Weber becomes magically available for significantly less than the league max do not understand at all how that makes them better.

Sounds a lot like the campbell talk from a few years ago doesnt it. Then if he gets moved the same reaction to campbell will take place. "Why'd we move him what a bad move, I never said I wanted keith out. "

It really cracks me up

Every time Sharp hops over the boards my oldest son cringes....Sharp should be the sixth choice or lower, rather than third or fourth.
