glad he's back from a health standpoint. From a Flyers' standpoint, maybe he'll throw off their chemistry right now? that's all we can hope.
But everyone should get some earplugs right now because Sid in the lineup on Sunday vs. the Flyers on NBC is going to be downright nauseating to listen to. - wilsonecho91

Well you would not have to listen to them go on and on about Sid on TV, so that's a reason to go. The reason not to go is that it is an afternoon game, a day after they play Boston, against the Penguins and it's on national TV. All the ingredients for a great game.

I'm sure it was discussed, but as I say.. I was out of the loop. - Hextall271

I got so mad at the hit I broke the TV remote, but after I calmed down and heard all the Flyers players say they thought it was "a good hit", I accepted it and moved on.

Had a dream last night that a healthy Sid was a Flyer. think that was the hockey version of a wet dream for me.
I'm glad Crosby will be on the ice. Great talent, good for the game, good for the rivalry. Blah Blah Blah. If he is on the ice, they need to finish every single check on him. They need to have him thinking about more than just making plays and scoring goals. Whether or not he just came back from concussion is irrelevant. No baby gloves with him. Don't go running around after him, but finish every check, just as they should do in any case.

oh god, can you imagine the local media? they'd never stop having wet dreams.
last night i dreamt that i came across a bunch of scrappy huskies that i thought was an iditarod team but turned out to be possessed/rabid and i barely got out alive. i like your dream better.

same. best player in the league has no business being on my team. LOL - OrangeBlack27
I am sure I'd warm up to him as soon as he started racking up points for the Flyers. I'm not a hockey moron. But right now he is the enemy and it is fun to have a healthy hate for him. (though I'd never stoop to being one of the moronic "Crosby Sucks!" chanters at a game...that is just played out and stupid ).

Lavy should sit Briere down and make him watch this video to remind him that when he goes to the net he can make plays:

absolutely loathe pittsburgh (city and teams and people and smell) and despise sid when we play against him but always respect the hell out of him. had quite a load of pressure and expectations dumped on him at a very young age and he did nothing but live up to it all. i understand the baby thing when he first came up, but think he's totally outgrown that now.

For a HEALTHY Sid I would trade ANY 2 Flyers on the roster. Fire away female dogs!

I respect his talent, but the guy is a douche...and he gets a pass on a lot of his douchiness.
