If they get solid goaltending and stay healthy on the blueline, I think they can beat the Pens, Rags or even Bruins in a seven game series. Rags and Bruins scare me the most but if they are going to go the distance they will likely have to go through at least 2 of those teams. As long as they go 100% I'm cool.

Any of those three will be a tough draw in the end. That's why I want to see wins now, so we know the Flyers will have what it takes to beat a playoffs contender. I'm optimistic.
I want to beat all the good teams, so when it's all over, the Flyers can say they're the greatest. Not the flukiest.

This talk of hoping they'll lose a game, or lose a game intentionally is horsepoop. That's a great way of tempting Karma and pissing off the Hockey Gods. That's just not how a team operates or should think in any way. Play every game to win, and who your matched up with is who it is. Then I say bring em on and let's drop the puck and see who the better team is.

When talking about hockey, that phrase will always remind me of:
Or, said in another way:
"Bring 'em on, I'd prefer a straight fight to all this sneaking around!" - Han Solo

Agree whole-heartedly, though I wonder what damage the Phils *could* have done if they let the Braves take game 162 last year.....

Didn't work out so well for the phillies
But seriously, you need to enter the playoffs playing your best hockey, that's the only thing thy matters.

The Phillies simply didn't get it done. Hoping and playing for a favorable matchup is for losers. I won't root for my team to lose just so it can manipulate the playoff matchups.
