between gusty, bourdon and maybe even manning, the flyers have some decent 3rd pairing candidates. replacing carle will be problematic as he has developed into a solid top 4 guy who will likely fetch ~ 5.5MM per.

Briere is a competitive little bastard though. He is probably as pissed about this season as anyone. I can see him coming back next season and playing with a chip on his shoulder. I hope he brings the chip soon than that though. Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and beyond would all be fine times to play with said chip

Almost all of the complaints here are asinine. The team is playing AS A TEAM and is getting results on the ice. Last game, we saw we cannot win them all, but when they have their legs, they can compete with anybody.
