Manndog needs to play. He is a beast out on the ice. Lilja needs a day off.

Kirk Hammett's ok, but for a guy taught by Joe Satriani he's pretty underwhelming.
- BulliesPhan87

I gotta say that's probably the first time in my over 25 years of listening to metal that I've ever heard anyone call Kirk Hammet OK I knew a lot of guitarists way back when and I never heard them use such a casual way to describe him but I luv u spocky so whatevs

This is leight, but with a few of the Van Halen vids a few pages ago, I gotta say that they're still rockin.

I went to the show in Philly last week. A great show indeed. One of the best I've seen. On par with Springsteen, although the Boss edges them out slightly. Eddy is still tearin it up, and DLR is still a fantastic frontman.

Have a set of these Joseph Moeller chairs (2 arm chairs, though). Love mid-century modern. Would love an Eames desk chair.

I heard DLR cant keep up anymore... But I thought their new CD was pedestrian. And I have never been a Bruce fan...

My Classics are:

The Who
Rolling Stones
Zepplin

And the Bampersands

I have faith, you will shred again.

In the mean time, I'll keep up the controversial statements regarding rock and metal. While it's on my mind, Powerslave is an overrated Maiden album (even if the title track is Seravalling awesome).

Biggest mistake I made learning bass was insisting on learning by tab. I short changed myself on understanding the music I was playing, I still regret it.

Something about them that I can get tired off. They have my respect for staying true to their roots but too many of their songs sound the same to me.

Maiden is guilty of filler tracks (example: Powerslave). Their popular songs mostly sound very similar (galloping basslines, similar guitar and vocal harmonies), but as you get into them they have a decent variety of sound. I love the historical and literary subject matter they use, too.
