Why is anything other than "he has symptoms" bad news? He has a concussion. We've repeatedly seen how little the baseline tests mean in the diagnosis.

played A LOT of nhl 98. distinctly recall playing a full 82-game season then losing in the first round in five to the rags.

The Phillies simply didn't get it done. Hoping and playing for a favorable matchup is for losers. I won't root for my team to lose just so it can manipulate the playoff matchups.

What difference does it make if they get them first second or third round? There's no magical power that is going to make a difference for the Flyers or Pens in either round. If anything get them early in case Crosby does comeback this way you get him while he is still trying to get the feel back for the game. Young as he is with that big of a layoff there is going to be rust for him to shakeoff.

glad he's back from a health standpoint. From a Flyers' standpoint, maybe he'll throw off their chemistry right now? that's all we can hope.

But everyone should get some earplugs right now because Sid in the lineup on Sunday vs. the Flyers on NBC is going to be downright nauseating to listen to.
