Really? I thought he was actually developing some decent chemistry with Moen and AK earlier in the season. - Pie
Yes, sometimes AK and Moen would pass the puck to Eller. |

AK has always been known for his playmaking. Same with Moen. |

Markov coming back has been interesting but hoping they lose games for a top draft just sucks the life out of it. I mean 5 secs to go last night and they tie it up and I'm thinking 'ya great woo (frank)ing hoo.' - Pie
And then they lose anyhow. |

Very hard to believe that it wasn't just Eller passing all the time. |

That's what I am saying, and it would be out of left field if he does.

And Yes I know that Kristo is a RW, the habs are deep at RW and have poop at LW
but my god, I think i might prefer watching the bulldogs than the habs next year |

it sounds clear markov got told to let his partner dig out the puck out of corners. Makes sense too.
Also, Bourque sucks. Even Cammalleri was tougher in corners. |

What does that have to do with anything? You think he sucks, because he scored four goals in one game? - hscesq
I don't think he sucks.
I think he is not good enough to be a reliable 2nd line center and he's too soft to be a 3rd line, checking center.
Like someone said earlier (pie I think), you can't really know what his assignment is from game to game, simply because he's not good enough (or consistent) offensively to play on an offensive 2nd line and he's not providing a solid enough forchecking game to be an effective 3rd line center.
He's got talent, but he does nothing consistently well enough to have a well defined role. So where does that leave him? |

Ya I was laying that more on coaching than on Eller. Its been an issue on this team for a long time. They develop a decent line and then (frank) with it to try and get another line going. IMO thats Gomez's biggest fault is that they are constantly trying to get him going at the cost of everyone elses chemistry. The only line they haven't messed with has been their most consistent. Very similar to the year Pleks, Tits and Kovalev did so well together. |
