Hey juggers 3000, are you allowed to go to class? Or are there a bunch of arts students blocking the doors with their Macbooks?
- mr.peanut

General strike is not on yet, and today wasn't an urbanism or geography class, so I went no problem. Well, the 50 guys shouting and blowing their vuvuzellas WERE annoying, but once they got you deaf there wasn't much they could do.

Oh okay. BTW I hate when they call it a strike, students can't strike because they are not providing a service, what these students are actually doing is just skipping class with a lot of noise.

I know, I hate the word strike as well, but it's so much easier to say than "massive skipping of class and creation of picket lines in front of classrooms".

It's true but when you hear 'strike' it creates a different image to what they are actually doing, considering after these hikes, students will only be paying 17% of what University education really costs.

I remember when I was nothing more than a young brave in high school. There was some sort of "massive skipping of class" for some stupid reason. Everybody who attended were the welfare bums and degenerates. Really helped their cause.

It's sad that some people think that post secondary education is still right, while it is really a privilege.

I know right? A guy must sometimes let his emotions speak, instead of facts, logic and wisdom.

Protesting is a very wide word, imo. Wearing that ugly little red square on your shirt can probably be called protesting.

Quebec, where the people can't afford the least expensive University education in North America.
