Yep, that impacts them greatly. They have no chance to do well. I wonder if Syracuse knew that info but didnt release it in order to maintain the #1 seed. - Gunner Staal
Wonder if it is grades, or contact with an agent? |

I believe it is academic related as he was suspended earlier the season for that, dumb ass.

Fab Melo out of #NCAA tournament, Grade issues again. This is a huge blow for Orange and likely that Melo leaves for #NBA next year |

I know it wont happen but a rule should be in place that players have to play their 4 years in College. They will be 22'ish and should be better equipped to handle the NBA and the extras it offers |

Blysma said in interview that Sid will start on the third line. Ummm, third line just got a bit of an upgrade. Cooke with Did, now thats funny. Which defensive line do you put out with who? Man, nice upgrade and good of Dan to not tinker too much too fast. |

All I wanted in college was a B average and BJ's. It was a fun time to say the least. |

They had to fight tooth and nail to get players to go for a mandatory one season in college. Fact is they would go back to no mandatory time before they went to 4. I dont really follow any sort of basketball closely so I am probably the wrong person to be pretending to have an opinion. |

it is a little difficult to temper emotions for crosby and letang, i must admit. even the whole thing about him saying he feels so much better this time around. it'll be weird seeing him as a "third line" player though. |

I used to love watching College ball back in the 90's. I grew up playing a high level of ball. So my interest was massive back then. I think mine left when all the players were only playing one, as you said, they had to enforce it. |

I dont think it will be long, maybe 2 shifts before you see Staal out there with 87 as his winger, sounds nuts, actually when I think about it, Staal should be on Crosby's wing. Face off % is better. |

That's a good plan for him. You don't have to be smart to play in the NBA.
You just need a barber that can spell for you.

yeah id rather have crosby in the middle of that pairing. they definitely have a lot of options. hopefully by the post season everyone is healthy and we can figure out the best possible combination. it sure beats having to call up guys like jason williams from WBS |

Late 70's through early 90's were probably the peak for college basketball (Bird/Magic kicked off the era, those Duke teams with Laettner/Hurley/Grant Hill ended it). I only watch at tourney time now, and it's mainly about the Tourney Pools. |

The Dolphins just traded Marshall for 2 3rd's I guess that confims no Manning in South Beach. Be hard to convince him to come so he can throw to Hartline and Bess. |

Even if he doesn't live up to the money. The fact he is visiting the Bills first and the Bills according to reports are offering the most money means more than anything.
It makes them relevant again. That is huge. |

The one and dones dont even have to go to class spring semester. Plus the fact atheletes barely go to class as it is. You have to be a real moron to be declared "inelligible". Unfortunately, that doesnt preclude you from being a successful NBA player. |

The Bills will be good once Ralph dies unfortunately. Hopefully its a Bill Wirtz type scenario. |

Backup the truck. Even if he doesn't put up huge numbers, it changes the perception of the team, which is worth every penny. He's a good guy, hard worker, and a beast. He's not Albert Haynesworth. |

im happy for you to at the very least have that. relevancy is one of those things that some teams and fans take for granted |

Myers suspended 3 games. Never been fined or suspended. He deserved fined and/or a game. 3 seems excessive considering other hits that go unpunished. |

Don't disown me but I might be more excited for the Mario Williams stuff than Sid on Thursday. The penguins have done really good things since Sid has been out. The bills have been a disgrace for 12 years. It's like groundhog day of the 2003-2004 Penguins season but for 12 years. |
