Hopefully Pronger can make a full recovery as well, even if it means not playing any more, just to live a normal life. ( i believe holmgren said yesterday that he still was doing poorly ) he has been a beast in this league for a long time.

I can't imagine Pronger ever coming back from this. There just isn't a good enough reason for him to keep playing.

Pronger is 37yrs old with a Cup, two Olympic Gold medals, a Norris, and Hart trophy to his name. He's almost assured to be a 1st ballot Hall of Famer. What else is out there for him to prove? Better to look towards the rest of your life at age 37 and your kids.

Yep, that impacts them greatly. They have no chance to do well. I wonder if Syracuse knew that info but didnt release it in order to maintain the #1 seed.
