Well hopefully you realiZe that we have other D-men that can easily pick up the slack. - MillerTime3011
and ignorance aside, Thats why I am calling for Mcnabb to brought up. So we can do that. I don't have a lot of faith in Weber and Sulzer in big minute roles. McNabb has already proven he can do it. |

I took that comment as a dig on the fact that we traded Grags - theblueandgold
CHA-CHING!!!
Not really a dig on the fact taht we traded grags.. but just sarcasm that we have plenty of D-men and way too many offensive minded d-men already. |

We are 5 points out with 13 games to go and you have a "let's wait and see" attitude. A true fan huh? |

Maybe you should google ralise/realize and realiSe how ignorant you really are. - Sabretooter
FYI -
Realize is how it is spelled in the USA.
Realise is how it is spelled in other English speaking countries such as England, Australia, etc.
So if you are British or another nationality then so be it. I just saw your location as Buffalo, NY.
Just like how it is spelled "flavor" in the US but "flavour" in the UK. |

I think Sulzer has been a bright spot. Better than I hoped for anyways. Def want Mcnabb in there over Weber. He'll be just as good defensively and can't not chip in anything less offensively. |

Vanek - CoHo - Pommer
Foligno - Ennis - Stafford
Gerbe - Roy - Leino
Tropp - Boyes - Kaleta
I could also see Leino taking Foligno's spot on the second line.
Have we called up McNabb yet? Sekera's illness is a tough pill to swallow. He has been great lately and one of our best dmen all year. Besides Ehrhoff I think he has been better than everyone else, including Myers.
Prognosis
With treatment, most types of bacterial pneumonia can be cleared within two to four weeks - Sabretooter[45] and mortality is very low.[15] Viral pneumonia may last longer, and mycoplasmal pneumonia may take four to six weeks to resolve completely.[45] The eventual outcome of an episode of pneumonia depends on how ill the person is when he or she was first diagnosed.[45] Before the advent of antibiotics mortality was typically 30% for hospitalized patients.[16]

2 to 4 weeks is bad, and whats worse is that his conditioning will be poor when he finally feels well enough to join the team again. I realise that he is under the best of care and I am sure they caught it early. But this is bad no matter how you look at it.
We need to get McNabb up ASAP especially in case another Dman gets injured. We can't afford to miss a beat. He has to ready when the time comes, not called up last second rushing to meet with the teeam with no practice time with the team.
Unfortunately Sekera will be back in the lineup in a few games. |

He is better than you realise, you must not really watch the games. He is a bigger loss that all but two other Dmen, Myers and Ehrhoff. You must not really be paying attention. - Sabretooter
Hmm.
Let me put my sarcasm detector back on and I'll read this again.. |

Sekera was one of our best 2 way d-men when he got hurt. I would only have put Ehrhoff in front of him.

Looks like someone tuned up Yakuptov the other night. Had to get stitches on his face and in his mouth. He also might have gotten a concussion. |

I'll admit that he had a couple good games in a row. Made some solid plays and had no turnovers.
That will happen again when donkeys fly out of Madonna's butt. |

3 pts in his last 6 games isn't too shabby for Sekera
3 pts in last 7 games for Myers
6 pts in last 7 games for Ehrhoff

Oh no... we have dropped to 17th in the NHL Power Rankings..
WPG is 21
TBL is 22 (now that Garon is hurt)
NSH is 4
BOS is 8
OTT is 12
FLA is 14
WSH is 15 (up 9 spots from last week)
Not that it matters.. but I just find it interesting to look at the rankings. |
