Not true. We are only 2 behind Florida. I think Washington is going to pass them. They are playing terrible. We could have cut the lead to 1 with an OT win. I agree that the 2 points are the most important thing though.

he was one of my two choices before Lindy named the captain, RR being the other one.

He has brought his A game almost every night and in the shootout he acted like a leader. Poised and there was no doubt he was going to rip it in. Add the ot winner earlier in the week and the consistent effort he gives on the ice for every shift.

By far he is our best skater and I think the best player to lead this team into battle.
