Dude you need to contact your cable company then.

Its not the Satellite company. Its the NY feed and a couple of Canadian feeds broadcast in standard def. All other stations are fine.
When the feed comes from MSG2. The picture is blurry. The sound goes up and down like a yo-yo. One minute its blasting. Next minute you cant hear a word being spoken. Happens all game long. The same thing happens when Ottawa broadcasts are in standard. I'm talking about 2 carriers here. I dont have this problem with any other feeds, other channels or other stations. In fact some Standard feeds are tough to distinguish from the HD feed. Real nice picture and audio.

The bottom line is. NY never sends out an HD feed to the Center Ice package. To Damn cheap and they dont care about the out of market fan. The only time I see the Isles Rangers and Devils in HD is if the opponent carries it, NBC carries it,(dont hold your breath in Isles case) or if the game is on the NHL Channel.

It sounds to me like you have HD tv's but you have a digital dish and receiver. In that case your picture would be better than the one I receive in Standard Def over my HD satellite dish.

Anyway, who cares.

It's the widescreen for hockey...it really lets you see how the other team is about to set up a play that's going to burn the Isles before it happens.

Interesting. I have Dish. Switched over from Direct when Dish offered me Free HD for life. All my equipment for free, a discounted price and a movie package for a yr.

Still I'm Thinking of going back to Direct TV when the contract expires. Overall, I think Direct TV is a better product. More expensive but better.

I'm not sure TWC is available over here. I havent seen it advertised and dont know anyone that has it. Charter, Direct TV & Dish seem to be the most popular in this area. There is another one (cant remember the name) Saw it at a friends home. It was brutal. Needed a bunch of remotes. The picture was horrible. Had to go thru dozens of blank stations using the up down on the remote. Maybe thats why I forgot who the server was.

I'll check into TWC. Thanks xXx
