didn't get to see the game. recorded nhlnetwork which listed the game and it ended up being ottawa-buffalo. just saw the highlights...and while bryz played well, he was befriended by some iron friends tonight. it's nice to see. very tough to get a shutout without a little help and some luck. the bounces and tide have turned for him.

All teams have off nights. We're without 4/6 dmen, and JVR and Voracek. They didn't play the greatest game tonight, and well we still came out on top. We can't bring it 100% every night, no team can. We played mediocre and still managed a W.

Yes, indeed we should. I'm myself am crushed. I'm consoling myself by drinking heavily and watching Giroux highlights over and over again. But deep down I know I can't escape the pain, the anguish, the rage that burns within me because the Flyers beat the Leafs in a shootout while starting 7 rookies.
