Briere had a stellar game, seemed to be skating really well. Getting primed for the real season.

From what I heard, he really wants to stay in Philly... So is 5 million over-paying? I think if you structured a deal the right way you could get Suter for about 6. Since he is under 30... You can give him a 12 year deal structured to pay him up front, and making his cap hit like 5.5 to 6 million...

I agree with you. The problem is what if Weber isnt available the year after. You will still have Carle but you have the option to replace Timonen with Edler, Enstrom or White. The Flyers could also explore another trade to.

As long as it's not a NMC then they arent that bad. Give him 12 years and a NTC... That way if he sucks they can Redden his Arse...

That's what I'm thinking. No doubt, the Flyers need a #1 defenseman to replace Pronger. The thing is, I don't think that's something we can bank on solving this summer. I also think it'll end up being a trade that gets us this player.

Possible. I think Vancouver would be crazy to let Edler hit the open market next summer. He is a very good defenseman. Deadly on the PP also.

I looked in the broadcasting zones. It was very vague though, simply saying "Northeast Pennsylvania" I know that area is more of central, but I was hoping it would be in there. This is what it said....
