Anybody know how much Kubina might want to stay next year? I would keep Grossmann for about 3 to 3.5 million, Kubina for about 4 million, and Carle for about 4.5 million. You guys think that is doable?
- RooNosHockey

Carle will make more. If he wanted 4.5M I think the Flyers would of done that deal already.

I agree. They were cheering him every time he made a save in the third period. He is becoming the Bryzlin-Wall.

Carle's likely to get $5mm or more. Kubina? I wouldn't pay him $4mm...not sure if I'd go higher than $3mm or so...even that might be too much. I'd want a discount on Kubina

Agreed, unless it's a lengthy deal I don't think he signs under 5 per

From what I heard, he really wants to stay in Philly... So is 5 million over-paying? I think if you structured a deal the right way you could get Suter for about 6. Since he is under 30... You can give him a 12 year deal structured to pay him up front, and making his cap hit like 5.5 to 6 million...

I'd be satisfied if we got him on a three or five year deal at $5.5m or less. Whether that fits with his plans, that's another story.

I hate long term contracts. I understand why teams do it to lower the cap hit but those deals stink.

I don't think we could get Suter at a $6m cap hit. Even though the player is concerned with the money rather than the cap, another team would see that offer and it's cap hit, and know they could handle more.

Then again, I'm not convinced he'll hit the market.

As long as it's not a NMC then they arent that bad. Give him 12 years and a NTC... That way if he sucks they can Redden his Arse...

Not that easy. Suter & his agent are going to get a NMC in his next contract. He is the top free agent on the market and usually they can do whatever they want.

Does anyone know how far west MSG+ goes? I'm going to 20 miles or so north of Philly for the weekend, and I know I'll be able to catch the Philly game, but I was wondering if Saturday's game would be there....
