Yea I am a bit confused with the Kaleta hate.
We need Kaleta here for sure and he has an assigned role on this team unlike many others.
Kaleta does not bother me one bit being on this roster. - TerryPegs
he knows his role and does what he's asked to do...could this role be filled by others?...sure....
but how many would take on lucic for the team, knowing full well they'd get pummeled? |

I think, for the most part, it's him on the 3rd line vs the 4th line
not a hate for him on the team

I was torn between your combo and the one I picked for coho and roy - homiedclown
Roy and Stafford played well in previous years when they were on the 2nd or 3rd line together...
if we are gonna pay Leino 4.5M to be our Checking center I will burn down Regier's house.
The guy is good when he has great players around him. Let him and Pommer find that niche again.

I have no problem with
Miller
Myers
Regehr
Ehrhoff
Pommer
Kaleta
Tropp
Hodge
and Ennis if he is at Center. - MillerTime3011
Regher and Ehhroff are fine in the back and have been good most of the time.
Pommer has been a bright spot but i am not sold on him being a top line winger
Kaleta and Tropp play dime a dozen positions so who really cares
Hodge has been alright but is playing with unable wingers and is filling the void that grags left in terms of turnovers.
Ennis has been a floater the last few games. |

sulzer is a keeper
lock him up
rr, mcnabb, and sulzer/weber (one of those as the 7th d man)
then look at trading a puck moving d man in the off season |

We are used to seeing Montador fall down in open ice... Sekera not want to him a soul... Weber taking himself out of plays to make hits (althought I really like his hits)
Ehrhoff and Myers leading the team in turnovers.
And Regehr sometimes being father time and other times being pure brute force for this team. |

Crazy to think but Leopold has actually been our best "defensive" d-man this year. He leads the team in blocked shots for example.
Myers, Ehrhoff, McNabb, and Regehr stay... everyone else can be traded for offense and I wouldn't shed a tear. |

Its cool. I agree that he should be on the 4th line though. I do need and want him on this roster. If only Kassian had Kaletas heart that guy would be unstoppable. |

Brennan, Pysyk, and GDL are puck movers already if I remember correctly.
On top of Myers, Ehrhoff, Leopold, and Sekera |

Leopold isn't a "puck moving" defenseman. He's a very capable defensive defenseman who happens to also be able to move the puck. I really don't mind the defense as it is constructed now. A competent forward group makes it just fine.
Also, Sulzer is like a backup quarterback in football. Play him for 2 or 3 games, and he will be more than adequate. Play him on a regular basis, and his play will start to slide. The only reason people like him right now is because he's new, and hasn't done anything to piss off the fanbase...yet. |

The clutch and grab is back. The franchise is now paying for all of Darcy's draft picks post lockout mentality. |
