Its cool. I agree that he should be on the 4th line though. I do need and want him on this roster. If only Kassian had Kaletas heart that guy would be unstoppable.

I really like that statement Pegs.

Whats really sad about this.... We are still only 2 points out of 8th place... but without Vanek if we lose a few games now... we could very very easily be back into top 7 draft pick area for Galchenyuk.

We finished 10th or 11th in the East and we could get Gally easy.

Leopold isn't a "puck moving" defenseman. He's a very capable defensive defenseman who happens to also be able to move the puck. I really don't mind the defense as it is constructed now. A competent forward group makes it just fine.

Also, Sulzer is like a backup quarterback in football. Play him for 2 or 3 games, and he will be more than adequate. Play him on a regular basis, and his play will start to slide. The only reason people like him right now is because he's new, and hasn't done anything to piss off the fanbase...yet.

he's either a puck-mover or a minute-eater...no other way to describe him

totally agree on sulzer

I agree on both accounts as well. Leopold starting his career as an offensive player.. but now just eats minutes and is an above average all-around D-man.

Sulzer just hasn't pissed anyone off yet. Sekera would be the only guy that I would be happy if Sulzer replaced full-time though.

I feel you guys on the Sulzer deal but lets be fair.

He played over 20 minutes last night and did not make one play that made me want to pull my hair out of my head.

He has played a few games now and he is steady to say the very least and you have to give him credit for that. If he was terrible I think we would have noticed"terrible" by now.

Again , I am pleasantly surprised by his play.

Shocking.

Also nice to see Winnipeg play on the road. I wish them luck playing away from their barn (no pun intended).
