I think we missed the boat by letting Kevin Dineen go to Florida. He has proven that he is a good NHL coach who could have replaced Lindy.

The Sabres didn't choke last night. They lost to the defending champion Boston Bruins on their ice in a second game in two nights. Its happens. They choked earlier in the season losing games to Columbus, the Islanders, the Leafs. Those are games they should have won and points we should have had in our back pocket.

Besides getting into 8th on March 8th doesn't gaurentee you anything. You dont get a trophy for that.

If we would of had 45M to spend yea maybe.... but out of all the players they brought in.. Campbell, Jovanoski, Fleishman, Versteeg, Upshall, Kopecky, Sturm, Goc, Samuelsson, Smithson, Madden, and Theodore....

I would have only wanted Versteeg, Smithson, or Madden. And I would have kept Booth there!!

I think Patrick could be intriguing if Lindy gets the axe or moved upstairs one day like Murray did.

This is true and that sucks... cause i really think some of these young guys would perform well in a different system and i also think the "core" players might actually listen to a new coach instead of blowing him off and laughing at him while he screams on the bench.

We barley win in OT against a poopty Carolina team where THEY played the night before and we had a huge powerplay advantage and its all, I really like that trade, Pomminville is playing well, I like our defense.

As soon as they came out and generated no offense and just kept passing or clearing the puck to a bruin, I just knew they were going to lose. I just hate that boring dumb system.

I think its extreme to say they fleeced the ticket holders while we have the 23rd most expensive tickets in the League. No one put a gun to thier head.

3/4 of the team was hurt.

Where the Sabres failed(miserably) was when Pegula took over, he made such outlandish promises that he was going to succeed at a business that he had no experience at. There was so much pomp and cirmcumstance all the time. Then after all that he crammed a couple of new guys in, kept 92% of it status quo and thought it would work. Pegula is less focused on "Winning the cup at all costs" and more focused on trying to prove to everyone that this core of players and coaches can be bought a cup overnight.

Pegs shoulda kept his mouth shut.
