Just saying. This franchise needs to make a statement. That's the only way to do it. It starts with getting that type of player to come here. Maybe it's the ties to the franchise's history, but I think Parise would give us a shot. He's entering his prime, he is worth going bat poop crazy over.

Anybody else tired of watching these emotionless, no intensity games with your so called division rivals? Its so facking sad. Watch the other teams play each other in the division and all the games are battles with hard hitting, fighting & excitement. When they Isles play its like you can't tell the difference if they are playing a divisional opponent or the Wild. They have no fire, no toughness, no excitement. They are such a facking bore to watch.

No you are right... back in the Patrick Div days (when the Isles were relevant) ANY game against the Pens,Caps,Devils or Flyers were Wars that you HAD to watch.. then a game against the Rags was the most amazing thing you could ever see.. If you couldnt make it to the game, you watched it, if you couldnt watch it.. you sat by the radio & listened.... This team has been so bad for so long that... all of that is dead... It almost seems like our only rivalry is against another pathetic franchise thats not even in our Div.. Toronto

THN does not treat the Isles in any wrong way... they speak the truth about the sport. When this team is playing well they write about it and when its not they'll comment about that too. They've praised JT, Moulson, Nabby and PA for their play. They had wrote good things about some of our prospects. Thing is bottom teams and ones ran like a circus don't get much press/praise and thats not their fault

i can see as clear as day what is wrong with this team...their is nothing tangable i can do about it so i'm not going to waste my breath complaining about...until we have a nhl blueline..we are going nowhere..i have been saying that since november

Good thing we held onto Nabokov for our "playoff push" instead of trading him when he was playing out of his head and increasing his value. No more news about contract discussions, and he's .864 in his last 5 starts.
