we already discussed PA and Moulson and I'll give credit where its due but come one m an, let it go. I'm not going to sit here and go on line to find the answer to that. All I know is this team is disgusting and I am embarrassed by this team. I've beea fan since the seventies and this is a disgrace. This is his baby, plain and simple. There is no excuse. - Cptmjl
I just answered a question you asked me. |

No pass. He needs to upgrade this team to playoff caliber for next year. No more just trying for him. Now is the time. You have enough of a supporting cast that one big forward move and upgrading the defense can get you to playoffs.
I just don't think five years to win a cup is realistic. To make playoffs, yes. They must next year. Make no mistake about my blindness if you will, if it's October and team isn't upgraded and we have the same coach I'll be livid - Isles316

Again, I don't love snow. Just think he gets bashed too much. Long term, he isles actually have a plan. Do we want a Brian Burke type? What is the leafs future? No great prospects, no defense, no goaltending and he is willing to trade away farm. They have no long term plan. - Isles316
I wouldn't say Burke's "willing to trade away the farm." If that's because of the Kessel trade, he made it for a young player he wanted to build around, and didn't expect he'd be giving away the number 2 overall in that first draft. Burke makes moves...some don't work out quite as planned, but some absolutely do. We always talk about the mess Garth inherited from Milbury, but Burke inherited a similar mess from multiple jokers that ran Toronto before he came in, and he's had fewer years than Snow to turn it around so far. Just my opinion, but if Garth gets some leeway for what he walked into, then Burke does as well, especially since he's in a much more pressure-packed environment, he's had some success in the past as GM of Vancouver, and he got a ring with Anaheim. |

can't wait to see Parenteau ask for 6 mill/season and he walks. Snow is such a tool! Burke signed Grabovski to one of the worst deals in NHL history and has absolutely screwed the market for this July. - Mr.Black
worse then Reddin's, DP's, Yashin's, Gomez's??

That's fair but my point still remains that Toronto doesn't really show hope of being a sustainable long term success while the isles are trying to build towards that. I think it's fair to say that ulstrom and cizikas have already shown they can be solid players. The real question is can the isles get a true number 2 center and can they significantly upgrade the d. |

You guys aren't going to agree, but the Isles should throw the kitchen sink at Parise.
Just saying. This franchise needs to make a statement. That's the only way to do it. It starts with getting that type of player to come here. Maybe it's the ties to the franchise's history, but I think Parise would give us a shot. He's entering his prime, he is worth going bat poop crazy over. |

I thought they still had the top 15 to go... so Ricky D I'm sure will round out somewhere in the top 10
and I know Moulson wouldn't make it, even thou he's in the top 4 players in goals scored over the past 3 seasons.
But yet Lecavalier is 50 and Brad Richards is 28
And Jagr at 18, clearly these players didn't understand when the question asked of who the 5 best players of today are... must be from that concussion problem this season, cause it's showing by that list

that list has to be complete bs, there's no way they can ask 5 players from every team to list the top 5 players in the league today and come up with 50 names, and even if they did I'd like to know how they ranked all these clowns that got 1 vote each and somehow they probably rank 20-50, they should list how many votes each player got. |

Well the Islanders proved Yogi Berra wrong, it is over, even though it ain't over. Another lost season, more excuses, meek players, zero defense, a 1 line offense at best...yes Islanders it is OVER. And our on going chat will be heard...WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR. |
